Councilor Christine Leadman and MPP Yasir Navqvi invite the Ottawa residents to plant a tree for a greener community on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 10:30am in Byron Linear Park (Corner of Byron Ave and Golden Ave). Councilor Leadman and MPP Naqvi will plant a tree in the park and then give the remaining white spruce trees to local residents to take with them and plant at home.
