The Lemonade Boy Beats PM Harper on Twitter

July 23rd 2009

Every body on twitter is in the race for more followers. Though it is not a popularity test of a person if he/she has large number of followers, however, it can create some interesting situations like this one. A local Ottawa resident Com Mirza with Twitter name “TheLemonadeBoy” has beaten Prime Minister Harper “PMHarper” on Twitter by almost 150 followers.

The lemonade boy has 16,700 followers and pm harper has 16550 followers at the time of writing this post.

This also gives an idea that will it be possible to use twitter to gauge the popularity of a person for instance during some election compaigns?

Good luck for TheLemonadeBoy or The lemonade man as he been called in this youtube video posted by thelemonadeboy.  Please don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @Justinottawa.
